“Creative Journeys” is the culmination of several years working to develop creativity using textiles, stitching and mixed media. We are each on a path of discovery, learning design principles, use of colour and seeing everyday things from new perspectives. At first every studio session was an exploration of new techniques, experimenting with mark making, printing, colour mixing and fabric dying. Growing in confidence and ability, we now draw on individual inspiration to create themes and colour palettes for original work. This exciting approach has encouraged us to develop our own style and preferred media, on display here in Henley.
