With a choice of several licensed rooms, we will have the perfect option for you and your guests. Enjoy the grand marble staircase, the timeless glamour of the Queen Elizabeth II Hall, or the wood-panelled, historic Council Chamber, all in our grand, Grade II* listed Town Hall.
VENUE AvaIlabilityThe Town Hall features a Main Hall, Council Chamber and Committee Room which are available to hire either separately or you can hire the whole Town Hall.
The Main Hall features a rounded ceiling and stained glass windows and can accommodate up to 210 guests.
The Council Chamber is panelled in oak from floor to ceiling and is adorned with a beautiful fireplace and brass chandeliers. This room can accommodate up to 60 guests.

The Old Fire Station Gallery is a converted fire station providing a magnificent gallery for artists to display their paintings, sculptures, tapestries and photography.
The Gallery can be hired on a weekly basis. Please note that the Old Fire Station Gallery can be hired for half price in January and February each year.

The Market Place is available for use by both businesses, and community groups who have charitable purposes or who operate on a not-for-profit basis.
