On Monday 13th May at 11:30am, the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Henley-on-Thames will be officially elected at the Annual Meeting of the Town Council, in the Town Hall.

The ceremony will take place in the Queen Elizabeth II Hall.

On the day, the Processional Party will be called together by Town Clerk Sheridan Jacklin-Edward shortly before 11:30 and will be led off by the Mace Bearer, James Churchill Coleman, the Town Sergeant.  During the public meeting, it is anticipated that the mayoral chain and mace will pass to Mayor Elect and Deputy Mayor Elect. The Mace Bearer, James Churchill Coleman will knock on the door of the Large Hall three times, announcing the handover of mayoral and deputy mayoral status. There will be a reception after the event.

All are welcome although space is limited, so those wishing to attend should make sure they arrive early.
