Henley-on-Thames is renowned for its rowing regattas attracting competitors and visitors from across the country and around the world.

Henley Women's Regatta

Henley Women’s Regatta is the premier rowing regatta for Women in the UK. Over one thousand women aim to compete and win at the regatta annually.

Crews travel from all around the world to race over the famous Henley Regatta course from as far afield as New Zealand and the United States and as nearby as Ireland, making Henley Women's Regatta an international event.

Spectators can experience high quality rowing in a relaxed atmosphere. There are no charges to experience the regatta and the dress code is casual while spectators are encouraged to bring picnics. The famous Barn Bar will be open for food and drink. www.hwr.org.uk

Henley Royal Regatta

The most famous regatta in the world is both one of the highlights of the summer sporting calendar and the social season.  

It attracts thousands of visitors over a 5 day period and spectators will be thrilled by over 200 races of an international standard, including Olympians and crews new to the event.

Aside from the rowing, visitors can take in the garden party ambience enjoying the facilities within the Enclosures or can roam the riverbank free of charge.

Henley Masters Regatta

Veteran oarsmen and women enjoy the thrill of racing on the famous Henley stretch over a shortened course over two days in the week following the Royal Regatta.

The event attracts many former internationals from the UK and overseas alongside experienced club rowers in events for ages ranging from 27-75. This is another relaxed but highly competitive regatta, with no formal dress code and free entry. www.henleymastersregatta.org.uk

Henley Town Regatta

Taking place on the Royal Regatta site Henley T&V as it is known, is nearly as old as the Royal and gives club men and women the chance to compete over 800m of the famous course.

Henley's T & V Regatta is the only event of the year at which townsfolk and tourists can picnic and relax by the river on the magnificent lawns owned by the Royal Regatta.

 It's a family friendly event that offers refreshments, a licensed bar and rides aboard the majestic umpire launches. It's also the only regatta on the Henley Reach to allow 3-abreast racing and typically features around 200 crews from clubs from local towns, Oxford, London and further a-field.  www.henleytownregatta.org.uk
