Draft Neighbourhood Plan Survey Open Now Back to all news
November 9, 2021
The draft Joint Henley and Harpsden Neighbourhood Plan is now open for pre-submission public consultation.
You can complete your survey here
The survey will close on 16 November 2020 at noon.
The Joint Henley and Harpsden Neighbourhood Plan has been created by listening carefully to the views of residents and businesses. When it is complete, the Neighbourhood Plan will promote, guide and enable sustainable development in Henley and Harpsden. It will also help to protect our natural environment and local heritage.
The Neighbourhood Plan Committee want to receive your feedback on the draft plan and its supporting documents. Every response will be carefully considered. The committee will use the feedback they receive at this stage to produce a revised version of the Neighbourhood Plan.
Reference copies of the draft Plan will also be available to view at the Town Hall and Library until 16 November.
Where possible, we request that the survey is completed online
However, respondents can also collect a hard copy of the consultation survey from Henley Town Hall. Completed feedback forms can be returned to the Town Hall marked ‘Neighbourhood Plan Consultation’.
All feedback will be shared and will be made identifiable by organisation (where applicable). The Neighbourhood Plan Committee regrets that feedback received after the survey closes at noon on 16 November cannot be accepted.
What happens next
After the consultation closes, the committee will incorporate the feedback gathered into a revised plan. They will then submit this to South Oxfordshire District Council (SODC) who will undertake another round of public consultation. SODC will then appoint an independent examiner to assess whether the Plan meets the required standard. If this is the case the examiner will then recommend that the plan proceeds to a referendum.
