Henley Town Council’s Climate and Nature Emergency Advisory Group is inviting local landlords and property agents to a free information evening on upcoming changes that will affect the rental sector.

On Tuesday 25 February at 7.00pm, Henley Town Hall will host an expert-led session covering the Renters’ Rights Bill and new Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) requirements, which will require rental properties to achieve an EPC rating of C or above by 2030.

The event is aimed at landlords and agents of both residential and commercial properties who want clear, practical guidance on how forthcoming legislation may impact them.

Attendees will hear from:

  • An independent energy assessor, who will explain what landlords can do to meet the new EPC standards, and
  • The National Residential Landlords Association (NRLA), which will outline the key elements of the Renters’ Rights Bill and what it means in practice.

There will also be opportunities to ask questions and better understand how to prepare for the changes ahead.

The event is free to attend, but advance booking is requested if possible.
