The people of Henley have carefully appraised proposals for an Adventure Golf course on the site of the former Putting Green at Mill Meadows. The results of the public consultation will be discussed at the next Full Council Meeting on the 27 July

The Consultation on the proposed Adventure Golf course at Mill Meadows closed just before midnight on Sunday 18 July.

As part of the consultation, several exhibition panels were installed at Mill Meadows. The panels featured QR codes that directed people to the designs, business case and survey.

130 local people responded to the survey and several representatives from local organisations also met with Henley Town Council to discuss the plans. The resulting feedback has been used to prepare a report for the next Full Council Meeting on 27 July.

The feedback highlights several key areas that require further consideration by the Council to ensure that the final scheme is as effective as possible.

Town Clerk, Sheridan Jacklin-Edward added ‘I have been really impressed with how the people of Henley have engaged with the designs. Respondents have carefully scrutinised the finer details, from the financial projections to the environmental sustainability of the materials…  The feedback is a reflection of the informed, engaged and eclectic community here, and I am looking forward to sharing the results.”
