Freeman's Meadow Henley-on-Thames

Freeman's Meadow is an informal open space just minutes from the town centre. Tucked away behind residential roads, the park has a variety of mature trees and a large field for play.  The children’s play area was upgraded by the Town Council in 2019 and having been designated a Town Green in 2020, the park now has protected status and is one of the town’s best spaces to relax and play.

What can I do here?

  • Dedicated play area for toddlers and children
  • Swings, zip wire
  • Ball games allowed!
  • Football posts for a kickabout
  • Walk the dog
  • Picnics (no BBQs please)

Getting here
