Henley will be a-buzz with festive fun from 4pm – 9pm. There will be live entertainment on the Market Place stage throughout the evening.

There will be stalls, attractions and fairground rides in the Market Place, Bell Street, Duke Street and Hart Street.

At 7pm, the winner of the Mayor’s Christmas Card Competition will switch on our Christmas tree lights, along with Mayor Sarah Miller and a representative from Invesco, who generously sponsor our Christmas tree.

The 'big switch-on' will be followed by carol singing accompanied by the Woodley Concert Band.

The Mayor will be performing her Christmas single Henley on Christmas! Click here for the lyrics so you can sing along!

Temporary Road Closures will be in place for the festival - learn more here

Craig Buckby, Town Centre Manager said, “We have had a phenomenal response from traders – there will be a great array of stalls and attractions on the night. As well as the usual hustle and bustle of Market Place, we will also spread the celebrations out onto Bell Street, Duke Street and Hart Street. It is going to be a great evening – come out and join us!’

Mayor of Henley, Councillor Sarah Miller said, ‘The Christmas festival is such a fixture in Henley’s calendar. It is a superb start to the season – a great night out and a chance to get a head start on your Christmas shopping. I have already received some imaginative Christmas Card designs and I have been practicing my carols.

In addition to the Council-organised Christmas Festival… There will be a Santa's Grotto from 4pm-8pm at the Hotel Du Vin courtyard this year....

Tom Ryan and Paula Price-Davies have arranged a very special guest at the Hotel Du Vin – Santa Claus himself. After their previous Santa’s Grottos at the Kenton Theatre, Regal Picturehouse and the Spice Merchant, the hotel’s beautiful courtyard off New Street is this year’s venue - Father Christmas will be there from 4pm-8pm

Tom says ‘Thanks to support of Invesco, St Mary's Preparatory School & other local businesses the Santa’s Grotto remains free to all, with a gift for every child.

If you would like to donate, the organisers’ charity partner The Chiltern Centre will be on hand – See you there’
