Why do we ask for this information?









Grants - how to apply  

Please note - the next Finance Strategy & Management Committee meeting where community grant applications are to be considered will be held on 10 March 2020. To ensure that applications are included on the committee agenda, please submit all the relevant documentation by Friday 21st February 2020.

The Council's Policy for Grants and Loans has been revised and is effective from 1st April 2017.

For  2019/20 Henley Town Council has a budget of £12,000pa for awarding community grants (up to and including £2,500) to local organisations.
Grant applications will not be considered unless accompanied by financial information requested under Section 10 of the Community Grant Application Form.
Please note that applications for community grants are considered by the Finance Strategy & Management Committee twice a year (February/March and September) and cannot be for retrospective expenditure, ie expenditure must take place after the meeting at which the application is to be discussed.

To ensure applications are included on the relevant agenda they must be received at the Council Offices at least two weeks before the committee dates.  For 2019-20 the Finance Strategy and Management Committee will be considering grants on 10 March 2020, for which a total balance of £4,547 is available.

Use of rooms and venues

If you have been awarded free use of Council rooms or facilities please click here for our terms and conditions.

If you are organising a Festival and wish to apply for free use of Council rooms or facilities please click here for our terms and conditions.

If you would like to apply for free use of Council rooms or facilities but do not qualify above you will need to apply for a community grant for the value of the free use (at local/charity rates) using the community grant form, see above.  The room hire rates can be found under the Council Services/Rooms and Venues Available website page.
